1) I had 27 minutes the return the rental bike.
2) I'm on the wrong side of town.
3) My rental bike didn't have lights.
5) Velocity = SQRT(2 * Gravity * Height)
(minus friction, drag, angular acceleration, etc.. so it will be slower)
So.. if I don't apply brakes, I'll be approaching ~31 MPH after a ten foot drop. Assuming a 20 degree incline, that happens after 31 feet. It's FUN!! :D
Fortunately I'm not insane.. I had emergency disk breaks, and I was actually wearing a helmet. XD
Problem is it takes just as much force to go uphill. Needless to say, I was a bit tired after getting back to the hotel.
So.. at 11 pm, some idiot in the room literally across from ours used the sprinkler as a hanger. We were in the lobby at 2 AM trying to get a new room, and the lobby had water dripping into it through EIGHT FLOORS. The elevators were flooded, so I had to carry my stuff back up four floors to our new room. AND... I needed to wake up at 4 AM for a flight back to Orlando. I only slept ninety minutes, but it could have been a lot worse.
